The first protocol for the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Vocational Training Center and Recreational Facility Complex was signed at the Governorship of Istanbul in 2002.
Construction began on October 9, 2003 in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan within the scope of ‘A Brick from You’ campaign. On May 27, 2005, the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Foundation (ISOV) invited donors to contribute to the financing of detailed construction work.
The Akkök Group responded to this invitation with a donation, thereby reaffirming its support to aid education - an integral part of its corporate culture.
On June 28, 2005, the ISOV Board of Directors honoured the Akkök Group by naming the high school within the complex the "Dinçkök Industrial High School" in appreciation of their donations.
The Dinçkök Technical and Industrial High School provides modern educational opportunities to 554 students in 24 classrooms with 52 teachers. The school is located on a 4,921 m2 plot inside the Vocational Education Center and Recreational Facility complex constructed in Beşiktaş.
